Relax your exams are over

Now that the stress of sitting exams is behind you, before you start thinking about what you want to do next, it might be time to have a little fun! So here are a few things you might like to do…
Embrace the fresh air
I know that you may want to sit in doors playing on your Xbox and shooting things, but why not enjoy some sunshine. There are lots of things to do outdoors and they don’t need to cost you and can be very healthy. Have a kick about, get a tan (carefully), or watch the local wildlife – humans included. Sunshine and exercise can be great for cheering you up.
Go on a day trip
Go to the beach or somewhere you’ve never been with friends and family. It can be lots of fun and it’s good to spend quality time together and actually talk to people!
Catch up on some sleep
Now is a good time to get rid of the bags under your eyes, but don’t spend all day in bed, there are lots of things to do.
Have you ever wanted to paint the sunset or write a song, put your own video together or write poetry? Have a go it could be exciting and open your eyes to new possibilities.
Events and festivals
Find out what’s happening locally, there are probably lots of things happening near you, check out the local paper's website, use twitter and social media to see what’s on. Lots of things will be free, so go along and check them out.
Read or listen to a book
This may sound like torture after exams, but there are some great stories out there, you could try a classic. If stories aren’t for you read about your favourite celeb or sports star – autobiographies can be sad and funny and a real eye opener.
Do something you’ve always wanted to do
Go on give it a go there is no time like the present.
I’m sure you’ll be able to think of lots of things you want to do this summer, so don’t just think about them – do them!
