Ryan heard about MyGaps when Cheryl, Clacton-on-Sea's Centre Manager came along to his school to talk about the programme.
He was very interested in what he heard and so decided to enrol. He found TCHC a very comfortable environment. There were people he knew which helped him settle in as well as the helpful and friendly staff.
The chance to gain work experience through a work placement was another reason that Ryan really wanted to join MyGaps. “The most helpful part of the course was that they provide a lot of help. They found me a work placement and they are helping me find an Apprenticeship.”
He thinks that the course has really help him grow up and be more mature. Ryan loved his time at TCHC, hea said “It has been an enjoyable and beneficial time, it has made me progress in life.”
Ryan is now enjoying working as an apprentice motor mechanic.
